9th MAY 2020

Walkers are taken by coach from Streatley YHA to White Horse Hill, where the walk starts.
The walk follows the ancient Ridgeway path for 20 miles,
finally reaching the finish at Goring Village Hall,
where free tea and cakes are provided.

There are checkpoints along the way where snacks and drinks are available, again free of charge.

Ambulances are in attendance linked by the Raynet radio system, in case of emergencies.
Transport to the start is by means of coaches from Streatley Youth Hostel to White Horse Hill.
Walkers who succeed in finishing the walk will be presented with a certificate.

The walk is as much a social event as an endurance event.

Teams from organizations such as BT, Thames Water, West Berkshire Ramblers, the Goring Health Walkers and Reading Outdoor Group often take part.

As the walk shares facilities with the 40 mile Ridgeway Walk, we are able to offer all the above for a low price.
